Does the X-ray equipment emit radiation?
Time:2022-12-01 14:06:53 Number of hits:215

To talk about toxicity without dose is to go rogue. Here first and you know the radiation dose unit:

Like millimeters, millisieverts are one of the basic units of radiation dose. For the topic of radiation safety, the sievert is too large to have serious consequences, so we usually use mSv. There are also microsievert μSv, and the conversion relationship between them is 1Sv=1000mSv, 1mSv=1000μSv.

In life, radiation is everywhere. Even if you are in the field, you are exposed to natural radiation, but the dose is very low. You cannot detect it, and it has no effect on your health. As shown below:

So what is a safe dose of radiation?

Occupational exposure levels of any staff member shall be controlled so that they do not exceed the following limits:

1) Annual mean effective dose for 5 consecutive years, 20mSv;

2) Effective dose in any year, 50mSv;

3) Annual equivalent dose of ocular lens, 150mSv;

4) Annual equivalent dose for extremities (hands and feet) or skin, 500mSv.

What is the radiation leakage standard for X-Ray equipment? Our country's standard is the same as international standard, all of which are ≤1μSv/h.

However, X-ray testing equipment has a higher standard. Our standard is no radiation leakage. We will take the equipment to the customer's site for testing, so you can rest assured!
