PCB, also known as printed circuit board, is an important carrier of electronic components. There are still some misunderstandings about the defect soldering detection of PCB after soldering, such as whether there is a faulty soldering after soldering. To tell the truth, if you only use X-Ray to see this problem, you may not be able to fully understand it. At least from the perspective of data analysis, you can see it clearly with XRAY after soldering, but whether the soldering is good or not and whether it is firmly welded, X-RAY may not be very good at analysis. As shown in the following figure, we can roughly understand why it is difficult to analyze whether there is welding OK through different perspectives.
At present, the common X-RAY detection equipment is plane detection. When the product is put into the equipment, the real picture you see is probably like the main view of the above picture. From this angle, you can only see the product detection picture. Can you judge whether the three layers are in contact? No, in fact, the stereoscopic display of the left image is used to detect the effect of the main view.
Therefore, X-ray can be used to detect whether there is empty welding, but it is a little difficult for false welding.
