The core of X-ray detection is the X-ray emission source, whose powerful X-ray penetration power can penetrate substances that are generally impenetrable to visible light. Visible light has a long wavelength and weak penetrability, and most of the light will be absorbed by substances, thus unable to penetrate objects.

X-ray has a short wavelength and strong penetrating power. Only part of the light is absorbed by matter, thus achieving the function of penetration.

After the ray passes through the material to be detected, the detector receives the light and images it. In general, X-ray machines are very important for detecting the internal structure of products. At present, there are mainly non-destructive testing methods in the market: X-ray testing, magnetic particle testing and ultrasonic testing.
